About Me
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Connecticut. I am, however, finishing up my research into second-order modal logic this year. My primary aims have been to extend subsequent calculi to offer theories of meaning for modal vocabulary and quantifiers. Interesting results of this work have been a novel account of ontological commitment and modality.
At the conclusion of my dissertation I consider apply the system of second-order modal logic I have developed to the issue of necessitism.
In addition to this I have interestsĀ in the history of analytic philosophy and medieval philosophy. In the former my particular concern is with the work of Carnap, Sellars, and Prior.
